My favorite piece of jewelry is a gold shark tooth’s necklace I got from Michelle Chang on Etsy last year. I got it because I had always wanted to surf but avoided it because of my fear of sharks (maybe it’s because I grew up near great white infested waters?) and I wanted something to symbolize my desire to overcome this fear. A little cheesy, but it worked and I finally tried (and fell in love with) surfing.
