I absolutely love Etsy. With so many sellers, artists and custom designers, it’s the perfect place to find affordable and unique accessories. Here are seven of my favorite pieces that have the perfect balance between sweet and edgy.
While in England last month, I noticed something strange on the streets. Those punky metal stud embellishments seen up and down the catwalk for the last few seasons are actual permanent fixtures in the crosswalks of London, used as street dividers. Of course, they are much larger and paired with gravel, but they also prove how much “street fashion” can translate to the runways. Here are some fresh takes on the trend.

When I think of summer dressing, I think of light and airy, with touches of gold and sea blues. I adore the breeziness of this Joie dress, especially when contrasted with this colorful Ikat bag. The best outfits tend to be a mix of high and low, vintage and new. (Note: “high” to me is a $250 dress. Anything couture I’ll probably just call “the unaffordable” or “the dream on”.)
Jilly Dress by Joie, $228 at Shopbop.
