Hello Weekend!
18 JunThere’s nothing better than a casual summer outfit for reading in the park or taking a leisurely stroll through San Francisco. Summer days here can be inconsistent-while one area is a hot, another may be cold, hence the need for long sleeves and/or layering. I love the comfort and ease of this outfit. I may have to purchase the whole lot!

Vintage Sparklers on ETSY
9 JunAbout ten years ago, my good friend Amber introduced me to vintage jewelry and I’ve been an avid buyer ever since. Here is a broad variety of cool styles you can find on Etsy.
Vintage Shoes on ETSY
2 JunPeople tend to have mixed feelings about buying vintage shoes. I have no problem with it-I just clean them very well before wearing them! They are a great choice when you want something unique or, say, good Italian leather without the hefty price tag. I have a ton of my mom’s old Italian sandals from the early 70s and not only are they perfect for summer but they are much more comfortable than new hard leather shoes…plus unlike something you’d find at Urban Outfitters, no one else has them. Here is a variety from ETSY.
Jewelry from ETSY
12 MayI absolutely love Etsy. With so many sellers, artists and custom designers, it’s the perfect place to find affordable and unique accessories. Here are seven of my favorite pieces that have the perfect balance between sweet and edgy.
The Pyramid Trend
11 MayWhile in England last month, I noticed something strange on the streets. Those punky metal stud embellishments seen up and down the catwalk for the last few seasons are actual permanent fixtures in the crosswalks of London, used as street dividers. Of course, they are much larger and paired with gravel, but they also prove how much “street fashion” can translate to the runways. Here are some fresh takes on the trend.
Mackenzie Knuckle Ring by CC Skye, $105 at Shopbop.
Studded Anklet Thong by Tory Burch, $275 at Tory Burch.
Mixed Bangle Set by Giles & Brother, $160 at Shopbop.
Eco-friendly Clover Studded Bag by Novelle Royale, $644 at Couture Candy.
Low Pyramid Stud Earrings by Michelle Chang Jewelry, $172 at Etsy.
Summer Style
10 MayWhen I think of summer dressing, I think of light and airy, with touches of gold and sea blues. I adore the breeziness of this Joie dress, especially when contrasted with this colorful Ikat bag. The best outfits tend to be a mix of high and low, vintage and new. (Note: “high” to me is a $250 dress. Anything couture I’ll probably just call “the unaffordable” or “the dream on”.)
Jilly Dress by Joie, $228 at Shopbop.
Sunglasses by Marc Jacobs, $97 at Revolve Clothing.
Vintage Stretch Belt, $16 at UnforgettableYou.
Ikat Boho Sak by Cleobella, $94 at Shopbop.

Dylan Sandals by dv by Dolce Vita, $55 at Shoes.com
